The food in this place is TERRIBLE!!! We went to this place because it was across the street from our hotel - NEVER AGAIN!!!! This slop was ANYTHING BUT real Italian food!
For example, take the Fettuccine Alfredo - there was NO FETTUCCINE IN IT! This restaurant used WIDE EGG NOODLES that were OVERCOOKED! The sauce was right out of a jar & some butter - DISGUSTING!!!
My son ordered the Ziti - the gravy was SO DISGUSTING that he didn't eat it - we took it back to the hotel, where we threw it in the garbage WHERE IT BELONGED!!!
I didn't trust anything Italian in this place, so I ordered a cheeseburger. How can anyone screw that up? Well, they DID!!! The put Provolone cheese on it - who the heck puts provolone on a cheeseburger? It's supposed to be American or cheddar. I SENT IT BACK!!! We ended up buying sandwiches in Blimpie.
DO NOT EAT IN THIS TERRIBLE Place (SOPHIA'S)!!! IT'S a COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY!!!!!

We've been going to Tolland Pizza for many years and have never been disappointed with their food. The owner, chefs and wait staff are very friendly. The grinders are generously sized and delicious, as are the club sandwiches and pizza. There are always tasty specials to choose from that make for a fine dinner. They have a nice eating area and also do considerable take out business. When ordering lunch to take out, it is typically ready in 10-15 minutes. The restaurant seems to be a favorite of the CT State Police who can choose to eat anywhere but are often seen enjoying lunch. Give Tolland Pizza a try next time you want a good, inexpensive family meal or to pick up some food to enjoy watching the game at home. You won't be disappointed.

Watch your bill. I went out with friends and had a couple of cocktails and a sushi roll. I paid with my credit card without checking it over, big mistake. I had my own bill and was charged fifty bucks, my fault for not saying anything. I checked my receipt the next morning and was charged for things I never ordered. I never called and complained but I will not go back to a place that rips its guests off.

LET ME BEGIN BY SAYING THAT I RARELY COMPLAIN ESPECIALLY ON A FORUM WHERE EVERYONE CAN READ AS I WOULD LIKE OTHER PEOPLE TO FORM THEIR OWN OPINIONS PLUS I WOULDNT NORMALLY COMPLAIN BECAUSE EVERYONE IS ENTITLED TO AN OFF NIGHT AND I UNDERSTAND THAT! HOWEVER WITH THAT BEING SAID I MUST SAY MY EXPERIENCE AT THIS REST. WHILE THE FOOD WAS INCREDIBLE AND AMAZING THE SERVICE WAS SO COMPLETELY POOR AND UNACCEPTABLE MYSELF ALONG WITH THE 3 OTHER COUPLES WE WERE WITH WILL NEVER BE RETURNING EVER!!!FIRSTLY WE CALLED AT 11AM AND GOT A RESERVATION FOR 630 WE WERE NOT SEATED TILL 7 AND OUR WAITRESS DIDNT EVEN SPEAK WITH US (NOT EVEN FOR DRINKS OR TO GREET US) TILL 720. NOW WE GET OUR 1ST ROUND OF DRINKS ORDER APPETIZERS AND THAT WAS ABOUT ALL WE SAW FROM OUR WAITRESS. NEXT THING WE KNOW THE GENTLEMAN WAS COMING TO COOK OUR MEALS IN FRONT OF US NO DRINKS NO APPS. WE SAY SOMETHING AND RECEIVE OUR APPS WHILE GETTING OUR DINNER. STILL NO DRINKS!! WE ASKED SEVERAL TIMES FOR DRINKS NEVER GOT ANY, ATE OUR ENTIRE MEAL WITH NO DRINKS NOT TO MENTION THAT NEVER ONCE DID THE WAITRESS REMOVE ANY PLATES SO OUR SOUP SALAD AND APP PLATES WERE ALL AROUND US WHERE WE HAD NO ROOM TO EAT OUR MEAL WHILE THE CHEF WAS TRYIN TO SERVE US OUR DINNER. FINALLY AFTER GETTING FRUSTRATED I PILED UP EVERYTHING BROUGHT IT TO OUR WAITRESS AND HANDED THEM TO HER. ALSO ASKED A FEW DIF. WAITRESSESS FOR CONTAINERS TO GO AND NEVER GOT THOSE AS WELL I ENDED UP JUST GETTING THEM MYSELF. SO NOW WE HAVE GOTTEN LATE APPS NO DRINKS I HAVE REMOVED ALL MY OWN PLATES AND GOT MY OWN CONTAINERS. WHEN THE BILL CAME I PAID AND I LEFT NO TIP! I HAVE NEVER DONE THAT BEFORE IN MY LIFE BUT I WAS APPALLED THAT I HAD TO DO EVEYRTHING ON MY OWN AND THAT I EVEN HAD TO CLEAN OUR OWN PLATES AND NEVER GOT OUR DRINKS WITH OUR DINNER!!! THE WAITRESS CAME BACK TO OUR SECTION ASKED RUDELY WHO'S CHECK THAT WAS, WHEN I STATED IT IS OURS SHE POINTED OUT WE LEFT NO TIP AND SAID WE HAD TO TIP HER. WE ARE A PARTY OF 2 EACH OF OUR FAMILIES HAD THEIR OWN CHECK AND NEVER DID I THINK THAT TIPS ARE MANDATORY IM SORRY YOU WORK FOR YOUR TIP!!! AND IT IS NOT MANDATORY!!! SHE DEMANDED A TIP MY HUSBAND ONLY HAD A 10 IN CASH SO HE SAID FINE WHATEVER GIVE ME 2 5'S PLEASE AND SHE WOULD NOT SHE ARGUED WITH HIM UNTIL HE FINALLY SAID WHATEVER TAKE THE TEN!! NEVER HAVE I BEEN SOMEWHERE WITH SUCH RUDE PEOPLE WHO DOES THAT? WHO GOES BACK AND DEMANDS A TIP? THEN I SPOKE WITH THE OWNER WHO I TOLD MY WHOLE STORY TO AND SAID HOW RUDE IT IS TO ASK FOR A TIP AND ALL THAT THE WAITRESS DID AND DIDNT DO AND WAS TOLD BY THE OWNER THAT ITS A BUSY NIGHT! FIRST OFF ITS A SAT NIGHT OF COARSE ITS BUSY BUT THAT DOES NOT JUSTIFY THAT BEHAVIOR AND BEING A BUS. OWNER IN THE PAST CUSTOMERS ARE ALWAYS RIGHT SO YOU DO WHATEVER TO MAKE THEM HAPPY WETHER ITS COMP. THEIR MEAL OR OFFER ANOTHER MEAL WITH A DISCOUNT SOMETHING, ALSO NEVER WOULD I ALLOW MY WAITRESSES TO BEHAVE LIKE THAT AND DEMAND A TIP HE SHRUGGED HIS SHOULDERS AND OFFERED NO KIND OF REMORSE, APPOLOGY OR ANYTHING WHAT SO EVER HE ACTED AS IF I WAS BOTHERING HIM!! HE COULD CARE LESS THAT HE WAITRESS PROVIDED HORRBLE SERVICE THEN APPROACHED US DEMANDED FOR A TIP!!!LIKE I SAID AMAZING FOOD BUT NOT WORTH THE HORRIBLE SERVICE OR RUDENESS!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the azteca salad is a delicious meal, with grilled shrimp and a large portion of chicken. tonight we had the los cabos burrito-- mango, pineapple. and the margarita with southern comfort-- delicious!

New Fortune never lets us down! The food and service here are amazing. Been coming here since I could walk and have never regretted it. Great portions (making for amazing leftovers) and wonderful quality. Just talking about it is giving me cravings! Can't recommend highly enough. :)
