I was there last night (1/28/12) with my friends to celebrate my birthday. It was so busy...but our waitress still took care us very good. She paid attention to us as well as a couple table next to us very well. The food came out a little slow but I understood they were busy. We ordered a couple rolls, sashimi deluxe and hibachi chicken and shrimp with hibachi noodle. It's delicious and big portion than I expected. I got surprised with birthday fried ice-cream...LOVE IT!! Thanks to Iron Chef to make my birthday party even more impressed.

This is hands down the best sushi in the state of Connecticut, and the Hibachi is awesome. We have tried many restaurants including the expensive Feng/Ginza group, but none of them compare to the sushi at Iron Chef! We have never been disappointed. We recommend the Naruto Roll and the spicy Kani Salad, these are our favorites!

We love Iron Chef and have been dining there for years! The sushi is always fresh and the staff is super friendly. We love the owners and they always stop by and talk with us when we eat there. Our little ones love Iron Chef as well and the staff goes out of their way to make them happy!
We try to dine there or take-out at least once a week.

I go here at least once a week. I've had everything from sushi to hibachi and I have never been disappointed. David and Oh want you to be pleased with their restaurant's food and service, so don't hesitate to mention if you are unhappy about something. They will try and make it right. Their staff, especially Tina and Cookie, work very hard and make it a special dining experience with their most pleasant personalities. The hibachi "show" is just plain fun! Entertainment and a meal for a decent price....just what we need in this economy! Give them a try. I don't think you will be disappointed! Tell them "Pam" sent you, and ask for a Scorpion Bowl for two! Love you guys!

I dined at the Iron Chef on February 3, 2010.
It could have been an off night but so many things were wrong, I doubt it.
All new faces, chefs as well as waitresses.
I ordered Sashimi Deluxe (my usual) with a hand roll (my usual)
The Sashimi came laid-out plain on a plate with no decoration. A minor point, but for me is an indication that the chef is untrained.
The pieces were average size, not large, not small, but completely tasteless and some extremely cold.
A minor point, the waitress disappeared after taking my order. She didn't give me a dish for soy sauce and never came back to refill my tea or ask if everything was okay.
It was a disappointing experience, substandard for sure, from a culinary standpoint as well as service.
I've eaten there dozens of times in the past, but after this experience, I would be reluctant to return.

LOVE IT!!! Kani salad is super. Last night we enjoy hibachi show and excellent food. I order hibachi steak and shrimp combo, steak was tasty and juicy as what I want. My mother love seafood combination. The food is a lot for this price. Soup and salad came at first. Hibachi fried rice and mixed hibachi veggetable always served with meal. We always love hibachi noodle for addional because it's tasty and yummy. Don't need additonal sauce.
By the way I love hibachi white sauce, dipped with steak or shrimp...ummm...delicious...................I will come back again for sure.

Iron chef was a wonderful dinning experience. Me and my Aunt went there tonight for the first time. The staff was very friendly and patient. Right away we ordered drinks and were served very fast. For appetizers we had beff on a skewer and tempora shrimp. The beff was very flavorful and juicy. The tempora shrimp was very light and fluffy not greasy at all. For our hibachi meal we had Filet Mignon and Scallops. The food was cooked right infront of us and the chef put on a wonderful show. The filet mignon was very flavorful and juicy and cooked just the was i asked. The scallops were also cooked perfectly. For dessert we had the tempora ice cream, it wasnt as good as i had hoped but still enjoyable. The overall enviroment is so relaxing and peaceful and well as fun and inviting. I would definently recommend this restaurant and give it a 5 star rating.

Wow!!! step inside the restaurant. I have to say WOW! with the great atmosphere at Iron Chef. I can't imagine how beautiful of restaurant's interior by seeing from outside. New hibachi rooms and remodeled dining room. Excellent sushi as usually. I am here for lunch twice a week and at lease once at weekend with my mom and daugthers. Don't miss it.
